Fox Valley Bonsai Society will hold our next meeting on Tuesday, April 14th, 7:00 pm at Pillars Community Center. Pillars is located at 605 E. Hancock Street in Appleton.

Our April meeting will be a presentation on a year in the life of Bonsai for northeast Wisconsin by Chris Augustian.  Chris is a former president and longtime member of the Bay Area Bonsai Society who started with his first tree many years ago in our club.  He devotes much of his time to bonsai and has a long list of distinguished teachers and workshops from all over the nation, as well as a trip to Japan.  He is currently studying out in Oregon under Ryan Neil at Bonsai Mirai and has many entertaining and informative bonsai stories.  You don’t want to miss this meeting!

As always, feel free to bring a tree in for any questions or consultation from our more experienced members.

Also, just so you know, club annual dues are $25, and you can bring them to the next meeting.  Also, don’t forget to save the date for the Chris Baker workshop at Dennis Dahlstrom’s house on October 10th.
